Activation of kundalini is often described as the release of pent up energy in the root chakra, which then rises through the other chakras, clearing and cleansing, before reuniting with soul consciousness flowing "down" from the source, through the dimensions, inside oneself. To us here at Openhand, free flowing kundlaini is the entirely natural state to live in. This free flowing source energy, creates miracles and magic all around you, feels like interconnected joy of living, and unfolds a path of light under your very feet. We've entered a phase in the 5D Shift where kundalini is strongly activating for people...
What is Enlightenment?
There are probably many definitions for what Enlightenment is - it is likely that we would each describe it in our own unique way. That is because words are ultimately inadequate to describe what can only be experienced.
That said, words and contemplations can help point to that inner state of pure presence. That is the purpose of the following articles...

Ever find yourself in grief at loss? For example losing a loved one, a valued career or cherished location. It is, without doubt, one of the most challenging things we can face. But there are some key clues to finding the light through it. Whenever you feel some kind of relativistic experience like this, there's always the flip side, and a doorway through to it - grief at loss, and the incredible potential of something new now wanting to manifest, are two side of the same coin. Here's a straightforward way of honouring the grief and breaking through to the other side...
Fear is what so frequently holds people back on the spiritual path. Fear of what might happen if you take a certain step. Fear of completely letting go and where that might lead. Fear of hurting others by being truly authentic. Fear invades the mind, emotions and body. But to simply 'over-write it' with positive intentions or infusing 'love and light' leads only more layers of identity. The liberated flow of the soul is not something to intention, or create by a veneer of gloss. It just is, and it simply arises when we open the space for it. When the soul invites authentic choice, fear can often also arise. So how do you deal with it most effectively?...
There will be times on the path where you're presented with vital opportunities for accelerated evolutionary growth. They are windows of possibility where your soul is wanting to expand into a new conscious existence. The Universe presents a cauldron of alchemical change, where you're tested emotionally, physically and mentally to your threshold and beyond. It's like a new flower, breaking through tough surface layers. By pathfinders who've endured them, they've become known as 'initiations'. They are the most earth-shattering, bone-shaking you will encounter. It pays to know something about them, to make sense of what's going on...
Yes, levitation is possible. What it requires is mastery of the illusion of physicality, by penetrating the unity consciousness of the soul, into every cell of apparent separation of the body. That's a tall order one might reasonably consider! But there's masses to be gained even by venturing down the path in that general direction. What we're talking about is transcendence - you feel into the density of the body, normalising with it so as not to judge it as something solid and separate. Then you can attune to the light flowing into it, which turns the volume up on your interconnected experience. Progressively all manner of miracles and magic take off...
Are you one of those always searching for the deeper meaning of the moment to ignite your life? Plenty say they are, but then the Path Less Traveled is littered with people who fell by the wayside, those who took the soft, comfortable option of staying where they are. But if you're reading this, then for sure at the heart of you, is a burning light, that although may get stuck in a lay-by from time to time, is yearning to return to the highway, to be a constant flaming brilliance, all the time, as a way of living. So what does it really mean to be walking this "Path Less Traveled?" How might you be inspired to continue, when all around often seem conforming and constricted?
Change is accelerating now in the 5D Shift. The 3D world is in terminal decline due to accelerating climate change and environmental destruction, but we don't have to be contracted by that. It’s vital to let go of attachment to needing things to look and be a certain way. You have to be inspired to transcend the physical: find the beauty in the reflection out there where you can, but always feel the expansion into 5D on the inside - paradise is to be found within. This piece of essential shift philosophy was doubly important for me recently, in a layover on Hawaii, during the current Openhand World Tour, where I experienced close encounters with subliminal expectation...
The unthinkable has happened. A 'raptor' in a suit has been elected to the most powerful political position on the planet. But was it really that unthinkable? Take a close look at any shopping mall, any town, any city, any grazing land or ploughed field. The mark of the consumptive 'beast' is literally everywhere. And the majority are too blind to recognise themselves a willing acquiescence to it all - the wanton destruction of Mother Earth. I'm actually relieved by it. Why? Because at least we witness the revelation of truth. No more hiding behind veils; no more speaking with forked tongue. What you see is what you get. Let it inspire more of us to shake off this sleepy delusion...
It seems to me that just about everybody is searching for something - be it joy, love, material abundance or some kind of fulfillment. And so often, all that's found, are dancing veils in a world of disillusion. Many people are close, tantalisingly close to the ultimate prize that will complete them. It's right there, in every single moment - the potential to break through into your deepest Cosmic Self, the magnificent destiny of all toil and struggle; the answer to every question. Where do you look? And most importantly, how do you look?...
It's clear the mainstream of humanity is becoming increasingly dissatisfied, and dis-eased as the seeming relentless struggle to control life and the planet's dwindling resources rolls on. Fortunately, a growing group of people are turning away from this mechanised madness by finding love, peace and fulfilment within. It's all about recgonising oneself as part of the greater whole and flowing with that, inside yourself. Understanding how the microcosym of your life fits within the greater macrocosym leads to a sublime way of being. You find the mystical 'nirvana', inside yourself. Here's how...
Anyone truly embarking along the spiritual path, must quickly give up the idea that it's easy, or especially, that it will somehow build you up into something. And it's definitely not all 'love and light' - not the true path anyway. In my experience, both of my own journey and in working with countless others, Spiritual Mastery is a shattering, breaking down process, that causes you to reconfront past-life trauma and source pain. It's also reflective of the current state of our reality right now.
Why is that? What might you expect? How might you deal effectively with what comes up?...
In moving fully towards and into Enlightenment, there is often the sense of something much bigger supporting and guiding us. And it can feel so benevolent, so caring and so patriarchal when it's there, that there often grows an incredible craving for it. However, as you move deeper and deeper into presence, closer and closer to the Source within yourself, there'll come the point where your soul yearns to drop into it. You actually become 'the father' so to speak. You become that openness which is the source of all authentic experience. Hence, paradoxically, the 'father' must disappear; the sense of external guidance must cease. It must all come from within. And this can be a very lonely place... at first...
